This is Me……
Hello…. It’s Dave here. I can’t wait for people to read this, especially people within the company because I think everybody assumes, wrongly, that all I do here at LV Towers is answer the phone…… Well, let me tell you…. It’s NOT !!

I work with my trusty sidekick. The Bev. We are the LV equivalent of Batman & Robin….. Superman & Lois Lane….. Jonathan & Jennifer Hart….. Bonnie & Clyde. Or as you’ll know if you meet us…. The Will & Grace of Knutsford. Some uncouth types do say we are more like Jack & Vera Duckworth but we pay no heed to that….. How very dare they…..

Between us we run the Training & Development Department, which kind of looks after all things to do with people. We work closely with Katie “The Monkey Catcher”  Muncaster to ensure that all LV employees are happy, well trained and stay with us for a long time.

This is what I have done…..
After leaving school I trained as a nurse…. (See I am kind and caring) Several years and a couple of nervous breakdowns later I decided to take a year off nursing and get a job behind a bar. That was in 1991….. Here I am, still in catering……
I have worked for a few companies over the years including Worldwide Leisure (Later the Pelican Group – God alone knows what they are called these days) I was Manager at Rock Island Diner in Piccadilly Circus, London.

I moved to Key West to run a Hotel in 1995 and after an 18 month stretch there went to open a new hotel in Costa Rica…. Why did I come back? I hear you ask. Well, there’s nothing like dunking a digestive biscuit in a cup of British tea. (That, and I missed Coronation Street….)
When I came back I had a disastrous year with a company who promised the world and delivered considerable less (I’ll keep the name of that company to myself to protect the poor souls who are still imprisoned there…Bless ‘em)

I worked at Browns Restaurant in Kew helping a friend which was fun. It was at Browns that I encountered Mr Branagan, our illustrious Executive Chef Director, who, to his peril, convinced me to meet with Clifford Hill (who, incidentally, did my job before me) The rest as they say is history…. Here I am, six years down the line and still spreading the LV love…..

This is what I’m all about……
Well the looks have well & truly faded – Yes I WAS young and pretty once…. It takes me a week to get over a hangover and I can’t stand up or bend down without making a grunting sound like Gran in Catherine Tate.

I spend my time between work, the charity that I’m a board member of (Hospitality Action) and my lovely flat in Manchester’s Northern Quarter that I share with my Fabulous and vivacious (and it has to be said a little mad) flatmate, Vanessa Wilmot
